DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. Why didn't the Word of God, Jesus, just miraculously come down from heaven? Why did he come via the Virgin Mary?
  2. How do you picture Jesus in your mind? What's he look like? Smell like? Sound like?
  3. What helps you to talk to God with confidence? Do you talk to Jesus?
  4. Compare Matthew 1 to Paul's summary of likely an ancient creed in Colossians 1:15-20. How does this affect your life and how you live, now?
